Shortcutz is a competitive short film series dedicated to recognizing the rich work by diverse filmmakers committed to telling stories rooted in an African American perspective and presence.   Submissions are accepted year-round by Program Director Randy Crumpton and industry professionals select the short films to be exhibited.  Audiences participate in a post-screening poll to nominate the best short.  The winning filmmaker is awarded a cash prize of $250.00.
